HDMI signal in Black & White

    Trying to connect a media player up to my Samsung 50 inch plasma using a HDMI lead but the picture is in B&W. I already jhave SKY+ box connected to the HDMI 1 port and that works fine. If I move the Sky HDMI lead to port 2 or 3 the signal is in B&W and likewise if I connect my media box up to port 1 it is fine in colour. So the problem is with port 2 and 3 on the TV
    I have no idea how to fix this as I am no expert and would appreciate any help at all.
