Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    jus curious as to what are the most popular weapons in the Cod community...?


    my opinion? G36c from MW1 or the M40A3, again MW1 :D

    M16 & silenced p90 in cod 4 , over powered easy to use .
    My little baby the over-powered silenced ump in mw2 .

    I only really started out on World at War.

    In that, it has to be the STG-44. Loved that gun. Didn't compare to the MP40 but amazing none the less.

    Mw2 - ACR. Loved it, was my go to weapon, but that was mainly cause I played on my own an never in partys, an it was so easy to get owned by full partys, so having a gun with basically no recoil was kinda my advantage.

    Also the M16 with Holographic sight. Just doesn't need to be explained.

    Spas12 - I felt like I was Sandy Ravage. When really I was lucky if I could play anything like that guy.

    Black Ops - AK47. Don't even need to say anything why.

    Commando Red Dot is a great lil gun to use too if ya wanna just have fun.

    For me its the Skorpion /w Silencer from COD4. There was nothing like killing people from atop the roofs on Pipeline, before they even got to the bombs sites on SnD.

    I hope the Skorpion is back in MW3 and just as good, because its terrible in Black Ops. :(

    yeah ump from modern2 was cracking! tha G36c is coming to modern3:D and jus peoples favs, like if i was to say most powerful...Famas from mw2, and blops...as well as the m16....mw1 and mw2 the made it into this super ultimo unstoppable gun of god, where nothing in assault rifles could touch it....aside from the famas!:P

    not a long time player, playing it backwards if anything. In blops, commando with red dot, my favourite however, l96with acog :) so satisfying getting a kill across the map with that

    Out of Cod4 Mw2 Waw and Black Ops...
    I would go with the Mp40 in World at War.Mainly because the assault rifle classes in this game were much weaker than in the other games.Only one automatic assault rifle(stg44)and the snipers and bolt actions were difficult to use and rendered almost useless by juggernaut,which seemed to be more prevalent than in the other games.

    Mp40 round drum jugg steady aim.You cant go wrong with this class.

    MW2 - F2000
    Blops - AK47


    I gets bored using guns after a certain time but these are the two I seem to always come back to. Could list about 15 guns I really really like in MW2 and maybe 6 in Blops. Up Close Akimbo Rangers are funny/best. Probably have more kills with claymores than anything else.:rolleyes:

    Bops - Famas (pre-patch)

    AC130 - total beast!!


    I've a few top favs in MW2 - Scar, then ACR, dula glocks in MW2 (so much fun) and then not to be forgotten - the Riot Shield.. I love thumping people with that and getting kills!

    Black OPs - Galil and then Commando, AK74u, Tomahawk!
