The "Promote your film" thread

This forum has becoming increasingly full with links to people's work. We want to encourage it - everyone knows how hard it is to get your film coverage - but also want the place to look tidier.

So here's the place to do it in future. If you have a short you'd like feedback on, post it here and open yourself up to public praise / scrutiny / humiliation.

We'll be relatively lenient on new members shilling posting here, but be warned: any first time / irregular posters who post their shorts outside this thread will have it deleted, not moved. We'll be kinder to people who use the forum regularly. Also, if a post is way too shamelessly promoting a certain cause, it won't be allowed either.

Anyway, post away

This is a modern day adaption of Shakespeare's Macbeth I did as a project for college. The brief asked us to adapt a scene from a Shakespearean play in a science fiction style.The story is centered around Lady Macbeth, her feelings of guilt and her decent into madness. I felt that giving her a title like 'Lady' didn't work with the story, as in my adaption the 'Mc Beth's' are portrayed as poor, so instead I gave her the first name of 'Laidy', in order to remedy this and still stay true to the subject matter. I shot this piece in HD with a JVC camcorder, edited it in Final Cut Pro, composed the audio with Logic Pro and created the special effects and title sequence with Motion.
