Dude I have said it on here before but the creme de la creme of quick scoper lolz is owning someone with a gamer tag like "xX S1p3R qK sK0p3zXx" time after time and to find him getting into such a hissy fit he changes class to an AR for the rest of the match.... and still sucks.... 0 -

Your talking about idiots that do nothing but quickscope.. most of which are 14-16 year old kids... thats what they 14 year olds do.. anoy the **** out of you.
I compare quick scoping to hipfiring... its exactly the same.. quickscoping is a tool that is essiential for any good sniper, as hipfiring is essiential to anyone using a AR/SMG... doing it for an entire match in every situation.. well.. its not gonna end well for either.
I'll be the first to laugh at the idiots that think "Hardscoping" is noobish.. but I also laugh at the idiots that think anyone who quickscopes is obviously some sort of nobjockey that cares nothing about winning games.
Anyway im flogging a dead horse discussing this with you.... for the 10th time. You paint a very one sided picture when you talk about quickscoping...
At the end of the day, theres nothing you say that will change the fact that quickscoping will always be a part of CoD (As it is in almost any game). Ya'll just have to live with that.
I can completely see where your coming from in terms of it being a viable tactic if your a sniper class and caught off guard. Same with knifing someone tbh but where the abuse comes in is where a person consider it an actual play style and uses it for the entire match. I think the term quickscoping or quickscoper in common usage though infers this problematic type of person. While the term itself describes an action which if used sparingly isnt an issue the level of abuse quick scoping has gotten from the kids means the term now implies the use of the tactic as a style rather than an emergency measure.
That in itself shows the level of the problem.
It erks me that these people cant do this messing in private matches though. If they MUST do it at all for "tages" or whatever the kids call it these days - at least keep it off the public playing field. These videos to serve no purpose other than to give the impression that they are good players.
Alas, your right in saying it wont ever be removed. The nature of the beast is that quick scoping IS primarily done by children IMO and these are the very kids who think COD is the end all and be all, the "hardcore" advocates of the series and if Activision shunned them by removing quick scoping they would loose those advocates.0 -

Yeah i get anoyed by peoples reaction to it on here because it seems a lot of people can't tell the difference between someone who uses it as a tool and the idiots that'll whine if you hardscope etc.
As for people doing it for tages... its really not, i mean theres like what.. 10-15 million people that play CoD, probably less than 20,000 people actually make montages and **** imo. Thats like 1 in every 750 people.. likelihood of running into someone who records for montages is very small imo
Its more a case of kids watching montages and then trying to copy it for the lol's..0 -
