Herbicide to kill heather in checked plantation

Anyone have any idea the best herbicide to use for heather control? Glyphosate seems to be most suggested-any others? Thanks

Will glyphosate kill heather? It'll stunt it allright, but I'm not sure if it will acheive an actual kill?? I'd be more inclined to go with some type of brushwood - something like Hytrol or similar.
