    Etc... You name it...

Not just about the Sunday Indo but other stuff in general, its better to speak up than suffer in silence and think your alone.

As bad as the Sindo is, it's still not comparable to the Nazis.

Very true - the point was that be a thing big or small, sometimes ignoring it don't make it go away sadly.

It certainly has become you're grade A tabloid shyte now. I used to love reading Shane Ross, Richard Forristal and Ian mcLean but the utter shyte being written about z listers like Amanda B's stunning performance at oxegen, Breifne O brien strolling down the street etc, Georgia breaks a nail, and any crap from the back page of the living section (red haired bloke talking about z listers spotted dining in such and such (fcukin crap) is stopping me reading it. I just go to the pages I like and use the rest as fuel for my fire

Barry Egan. How this man can be called a "journalist" is beyond me. And Tríona McCarthy. Jesus Christ.

I have friends who are journalists or working in media and whilst a couple would be fairly well known, I'm pretty sure that despite having more talent than Egan has in his little finger, they're on nowhere near the money he is.

Still, at least they're not irritating pricks.

so true. I picked it up for the first time in a long time and they were giving coverage as a "style star" to someone who was recently involved in a public scandal involving homes for the elderly and abuse. Swiftly remembered why it has been so long since buying it the last time.

Good God. If this is what Ireland was like in 2003, then bring on the recession I say. This is just vomit-inducing.

(I know this is from the Indo and not the Sindo, but still)

Gene Kerrigan must be the loneliest man in Ireland. I can see him there in the canteen, alone, looking over at Brendan, and Eoghan, and Eilis, and Marc, and Barry, and the rest of the nations finest boot-lickers.
