airbag light is on, with renault fault code df016 (CONVERTER LOCK-UP SOLENOID VALVE CIRCUIT)

anyone know what this means, is it just a case of soldering the wires under the seat?

or anywhere in the midlands specialise in airbag faults?

The code description you have doesnt refer to the airbag system, what scanner have you used to get this fault?
May be as simple as the side airbag wiring under the seats, may also be rotary switch behind the wheel.

That code description applies only to the engine/auto gearbox(if its fitted), the df016 fault code I cant check for you until monday but its probably correct and engine also.
I'm not a million miles from you by your location if you want to put it on the dealer tool, (renault clip), send me a pm.

Have this problem with a renault espace. Can anyone tell me where I would find the wires under the seat?

Just dont get the one for the ejector :D

It'll be under the middle of the seat cushion Foxy (thats the undersie before people start taking stanley knives to their seats. :)

haha realised I needed to remove the seat to get at the wires thought I would be able to see them without moving it:)
