Quick question here - I have two boxes working fine on my multiroom agreement & know that I'm limited to two.

However, I have capacity on my LNB for another box & have just been given a Sky+ box which I was hoping to put into one of the kids bedrooms for BBC/ITV.

Firstly will Sky be able to detect this & will it cause problems ? & secondly, if it is ok, will I be able to record ftv/fta chanels that are on the epg ?

    Cheers

Connect up what you like - its your lnb.

As regards recording I think that is out of the question unless subscribing to Sky on that box.

If you want to record FTA then buy a Freesat PVR which will give you a 7 day epg.

Thanks - I just wasn't sure about the two box rule with the extra one also being a 'sky' branded box. I already run a Humax PVR, so this was just a cheap way of getting basic channels in a students room.

    thanks
