    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows if it would still be possible to obtain a spare key for a car this old? If so, do I go to a VW main dealers or can it be done through another garage. Are they expensive?

One of my parents had been driving my car and lost the keys so I'm only left with the one key.

Edit: Forgot to mention that it doesn't have central locking so it's just a simple key.

    2001 isn't old :)

You can get blanks on eBay, most Locksmiths will be able to cut it for you.

Thanks for your reply, that would be fairly handy. I still have the one key but for piece of mind I'm going to get this done asap.
