Grado SR60 repair

Is it the jack or something in the earpiece that has come loose? The jack is easy enough to replace as it's low risk but requires 3 tiny parts to be soldered but in the earpiece it's probably only a single solder but you'd need to do it right. I think grado do repairs themselves but since you'd be shipping them to New York it'll probably work out prohibitively expensive but it might be no harm just to check anyway.

If you were to try soldering yourself and not have past experience I'd practice replacing a headphone jack cable on a cheap or broken pair so at least you'd have an idea what to do.
