    Hi

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum. I've been asked to help make a short video with exerpts from interviews, still shots, music. I was going to put it together with windows movie maker and borrow a good quality digital camera with almost an hour video recording capacity on it(the file type is compatible with wmm). I need to do videoing over 4 days. Would it be worth renting equipment like a video camera and how much would it cost? ( Its voluntary work so I can't spend much money on it). Any advice would be great as ice never done this before.

    Thanks

Do you know if HD is required or SD?

What is the end purpose of the video?

A little more information would be helpful in providing you with an opinion.

There's no problem in renting a camera here in Ireland however bear in mind that there will most likely be many more items you may need to hire with it.

It really all depends on the final result and how it will be used.

If its just an informal requirement then a borrowed camera with a borrowed tripod may suit.
