    Haven't noticed them before on the website but look good value.

    Carbon with 105 for just over 1000:
    Road bikes a new Merlin departure afaik.
    Looks good value. Carbon looks ok in an understated way imo.
    Merlin have a good rep for their mtb frames so their road frames might follow suit.

    Anybody buy one of these, or know anyone who did? They seem to be pretty good value..

    Dont know much about them, but I do know they have been in the carbon game a few years at least, possibly using Dedacciai frames ( thats good btw ), this one has been in the clearance section of Slane Cycles for yonks !!

    The 105 components with that are 5600 rather than the latest 5700. Also, and perhaps you are already aware of this, if you freely subscribe to Merlin's VIP membership you'll get a further 10% off that bike.

    That frame in Slane is American Merlin cycles.Different company from Merlin uk.
    (American Merlin were a well known Titanium frame company but dabbled a bit in carbon.)
