Yes, had a crazy aunt from Australia that came over to Ireland when we were kids, I was six, had a Ouja board set up on the kitchen table with the lights out and candles, She flung the glass off the table to spook us. Later said she was messing.

    Loads of them.

Pretty spooky experience's. We still talk about them 20 years later and everyone still maintains that they weren't pushing the cup around.

this the ouija board that was patented and marketed in the late 1800s as a toy?

not entirely sure what supernatural abilities it could have to be honest

though everyone "knows someone" who had something happen

    complete and utter nonsense

On a similar topic did ye ever do that "light as a feather, stiff as a board" thingy? We could never get to work but you could get 1000s of people to swear it worked.

Just chatting to my friend about the Ouja board and was wondering did anyone ever try it and what happened?

I personally would be too freaked out to do it.

Due to the power of teh intarwebz....

a priest on his own with school kids is a scarier thought than a ouija board

My teacher in secondary school showed my class this, but with the 'subject' sitting in a chair, 4 people would be able to lift a pretty heavy dude up with just their index fingers: one person under each knee and one under each arm.
Me and my mates used to do it a good bit!

It worked, can't for the life of me remember how its done though, but it definitly works, dont ask me how.

I remember doing it to somebody sitting down before, was amazed that it worked to be honest, but it was years ago and I forget exactly what we did.

Despite beliefs? If you don't believe in spirits or ghosts then I'm sure you could tap dance on it without any fear.
