    Hiya there would be Athenry, Loughrea, Claregalway, Clarinbridge, Oranmore. I don't really know west of the city.

    Barna, Spiddal, Moycullen.

    If you look on googlemaps you'll see the closest villages/towns and it can also give you travel time etc.

    cam anyone provide accommodation for 5 adults for 300e.

    accommodation must be close to the city as possible.

    we just need a place to sleep as we wont be in the house most of time.

    Hate to be the one to say it, but a 1 night self catering during Race Week is almost impossible - everywhere will be booked out for the week

    You want to sleep 5 people for 6 nights for 300euro? Or 300 euro each for 6 nights which would make 300 x 5 = 1500euro?

    Hey guys,

    I have a 4 Bedroom House available for Galway Arts Festival / Race Week.

    The house is located in a nice quiet, residential area of Galway, just 10 minutes walk from the City centre. 5 minutes drive to the racecourse - there's bus stops nearby however if you need transport.

    It's a 4 Bedroom house - 2 Large Doubles and 2 Singles. Sleeps 6. All Mod cons, washing machine etc...

    Would suit a family or group of friends.

    Parking is available onsite. There are lots of amenities nearby including shops, beach, cinema, pubs etc... all are within walking distance, The G Hotel is also nearby if you fancy some cocktails!

    House has large mature back garden - perfect for BBQs :pac:

    Hi there,

    I know of a lovely 1 bedroom apartment which can sleep up to 4 people (1 double bedroom and also a double pull-out sofa) located about 20 miles from the racecourse - tenants recently left and it has just been repainted.

    The owner is thinking of making it available for race week and was saying that she would drop people off to the races and collect them if they wanted!!

    I don't know what the price is, but if anyone is interested PM me and I'll put you in touch with the owner.

    Not worth its own thread. Does anyone know where someone could rent a room for a month or so? Not much longer than that but would be interested in getting a room for a month or so. any help appreciated.

    A mix of ensuite and non ensuite.
    Limited free parking and wifi.
