Once talked myself & himself into the private Citroen only WRC World Championship party after the GB event, bouncer having none of it, until I asked where the manger was & pulled the whole 'don't you know who we are...' thing, he escorted us upstairs to the main event & ordered the barman to throw in drinks immediately while apologising.

People here are convinced I'm an excellent English teacher when I'm just very good at telling funny stories, pulling stupid faces and acting the clown. They're not learning a tap (due to their own laziness as well I might ad) but they're not bored and so they believe they're learning something.

another one, around my 21st back during the good times, i rang my local audi/merc dealership. said my dad was buying me a car for my 21st (no chance). got to drive a brand new audi TT and 1 year old merc clk 200.

I once started a thread about how the Irish are great talkers in a veiled attempt to boast about a festival I was heading to.
