Lost my Cateye Velo8 cycle computer tonight, I went back along the route for a bit but it was 22:45 and getting hard to see. I love the velo8, real simple and does everything that I want. As my bike has the cable, cradle and magnet still in place, I am wondering if anyone has an old spare velo8 display in a drawer that they no longer use?

I can spare a couple of quid if it's in good nick.

    Many thanks

Post the route. Maybe if someone is passing that way tomorrow they could keep an eye out.

Up in the Brickleave mountains in Co. Sligo. It's not on the road, I looked, it'll be in the grass verge and by tomorrow the silage teams will have taken care of it. So I need to replace.

    I have a CATEYE MITY 8 and a CATEYE ASTRALE 8.

I don't know, whether either of these would suit.
If either suits, let me know. You can have them for free,
if you promise, not to try and sell them on.

Many many thanks. That is very kind of you. If it suits you I'll go for the Mity 8 as I have no need to measure cadence. I'll send you a pm now.

    PM replied to.
    I'll post it tomorrow.
    Hope it suits.
If I'm ever in your neck of the woods, I'll take you up on your offer.
