    Hi all,

I need to sell my shots as prints (13.5% VAT) and digital download (21% VAT) from a website but I cannot find a cart system that will accomodate this.

I've looked at Zenfolio, OnSight and PhotoOrder none of which allow different VAT rates.

There must be a way of doing this. Can any recommend a solution?

I would have thought that all sales would be at 21%.
13.5% Vat is for services only.

nope, photographic prints have a VAT of 13.5% unfortunately as they are considered a service by revenue.

As I understand it, all prints (darkroom or inkjet) are at 21% unless you are supplied with a negative or file by the customer. In that case its 13.5%. But if Steve is charging 21% then maybe I'm wrong?

hmm well im taking the shots myself. so does that mean ....

ok ok. but say I "wanted" to charge two different VAT rates (for what ever reason) does anyone know of a CMS cart system that may be suitable?

Self installs: oscommerce and joomla carts might offer different tax brackets

Charge 21% Vat for all, pocket the difference if only 13% is valid.:D
