best way to move heavy canoe from land to water

I have recently joined the East Clare Canoeing and Kayaking club and attended a safety training day last week.
The canoes used are made locally and are both heavy and awkward to move from storage area to lake.

I wondered if anyone on here has found a simple solution to make it easier to move them.

I have purchased two second hand 12" dia wheels and intend making up some kind of wheeled support but before I start I was hoping to get ideas from people who have made similar items.

I love to support Irish Companies and shops and businesses but you will get that cheaper in the UK.

And STG isnt very expensive at the moment either.

golf trolleys can be bought brand new from €20. Alu and plastic, removable wheels,fold up very slim, just cut off the bits u dont need.
