    Ben Sayers M9 Golf set

Getting these (thinking of anyway) in elverys tomorrow. First set, and I'm a beginner. I know its quite pricey but noone around here is selling them and I don't know anyone who has their own golf set. Opinions on whether I should buy them or not and are they suitable enough for a beginner who is average height, quite long arms and lacks muscle?

I bought a new set when I took up the game, and if I was going doing it again, I'd more than likely go for a better second hand set for a similar price.

Honest opinion on Ben Sayers for a beginning? A couple of people have said they are perfect but I'm not sure?

Not much of a clue :)

I just think getting a good second hand set, in good condition, is better value for money. You'll (should anyway...if you have a clue ;) ) get a better standard of club for the same price. Your new ones will be second hand as soon as you hit them.

Saying that, don't know anything about Ben Sayers clubs and you didn't give the price.

I can't really comment on as I'm not familiar with them.
See whats out there on adverts.ie or others for 200 and then maybe compare the reviews on the different sets.

    Happy golfing anyway.

I think a set of Wilsons would be the best starter set the would be fairly forgiving for off centre shots and for around 300 or so if its in your budget and are a decent set of golf clubs and you get all you want from woods to your putter bag and all and if you go to a good Golf shop they might even throw in a trolley and box of balls. Try www.colgansports.ie
