Arcades. Years ago they had atmosphere, now they're all full of crane games and racing machines. Give me dank, smoky seaside arcades with shady blokes behind the change counter, ould wans pumping their pension into the 5p slot machines and endless rows of games like Double Dragon, Kung-Fu Master, Golden Axe, Bubble Booble and Street Fighter 2.

also a fiver would do you for the day on 20p a go games, plus feed you seaside chips and icecream all day.

I have also noticed this, they probably only feed one because most of them now only cost 2 euro. Pizzas are dirt cheap lately.

TV, well it was never great, but thee seems to be an unbelievable amount of utter shite on TV these days. Fair enough, maybe some people actually like x-factor, Ireland's got talent, and all this 'reality tv' stuff, but I'd rather listen to the shipping forecast myself or stick sharpened pencils in both my eyes, than watch any of that crap.
