Leave your details with customer service desk in the shopping centre (dont say how much you found)

However tempting it might be to keep the money,it just might have been someones only money for the week :)
Yes I reckon this is what I will do, I will give it a few days if no word , ill be back on there for a case of miller & few blu ray movies!

Ah ya's are very good, well done you! (I mean that despite sounding patronising). You'll probably have everyone who works at customer service calling ya with random numbers on the offchance tho! :D

Im just a skeptic because I once found €50 on the floor of Beaumont hospital. When I asked the people in front of me did they drop any money one replied with 'oh yea I think Im missing a 20''. Pissed me off and now if I find it I keep it and donate it to cancer research. The person who lost it wont be as careless in future and charity benefits. Win win.

yeh u'll neva find rite owner now everyone in ur area who has seen ur post will be saying its theres,,

    And in english?

OP as another poster advised; tell Customer Service you found a sum of money, don't give details of the envelope etc. and leave a number to be contacted on.

It's an honest thing to do and you have no idea what that cash might mean to someone.

I once found a stack of notes sticking out of an ATM in Liffey Valley. I had seen the girl at the machine as I was walking up to it so I grabbed the money and ran up to her and said 'were you just at the ATM?' (I had only seen the back of her till then) Her face suddenly filled with panic and I said 'you left this' and handed it to her. She was so visibly relieved and thankful.

A few weeks later I lost my wallet and no-one returned it. So much for karma. :D

Did the same in Tesco the other day when someone left their notes in the machine at the self service. Still waiting on my good karma.

Nah if it was FF it would say €60 on the outside and have €300 inside.

€60 to a therapist should sort out why you need to get advice for this! Blow it man ....... then you can spend the rest of your life feeling guilty. Which can be a very heady life-long feeling. All for €60!

€50 will get you a year's subscription to Boards, and as a subscriber you could request a name change to add your missing "e". I'll take the other tenner as an admin fee for making the name change.

Just keep it and spend it.

    Beer and food preferably.

Hang on to it, find someone you know that could do with a bit of cheering up and treat them to something nice. I certainly wouldn't look down on anyone for doing something like that :)

Don't go the other direction and convert the lot to penny sweets. You'll puke ;)
Says the guy who has just been to Candyland in Galway City with his OH, and spent another fortune on multi-coloured sugar :pac:
