Is he slagging his employer? I don't think he is to be honest. Not maliciously. He takes the piss of himself more than he does of WWE in general....

I agree. His segments on WWE are completely tongue-in-cheek.

I can't believe that story at all about Vince pulling a trick like that on him. I'm glad Cena also stood up for him too.

Still tho if I was paying someone to do a job for me and they went off and took the piss out of me you can be certain you wouldnt see me rewardin them anytime soon.

Ultimately the job of a wrestler is to increase the company's audience by entertaining and that's what he's done; without help from the WWE machine. We live in an age where that's a negative.

He's a highly charismatic individual who's indirectly forcing WWE to see it.

Commentators talked him up somethin serious during his match on NXT last night. Mentioned the youtube show and the 100k hits it gets and the fact that he can back it up in the ring.

    This show is awesome!!

Vince has to eat some humble pie eventually - he can't keep ignoring the ryder revolution!

I love the way Regal put Zack over on NXT.

I guess they might be starting to realise his potential. At least give him a test run with a feud with Kofi or Ziggler.

I think it's inevitable... Vince can have his laugh for a time or whatever, in a way it would be like him to dislike the fact Ryder's got himself over... but at the end of the day business is business and they can't ignore the signs / t-shirt sales forever.

Had to look up what jerking the curtain meant there, thought it was something entirely different at first.

Was listening to an Art of Wrestling with Colt Cabana podcast today. He said he keeps getting asked when Ryder is going to do an interview, and that Ryder has said he'll do one as soon as he is fired, which Ryder himself reckons will be pretty soon....He said it in a jokey way but there was obviously a serious side to the comment...

Zack seems to be setting himself up with enough of a following to increase his popularity elsewhere. If he was released, TNA would easily sign him. Look what youtube did for Matt Hardy.

tbf Matt is a has-been but Zack is a never-was. That said I'm sure ZR would be prime for a spot in TNA.....they love that internet/work-shoot stuff. Feud w/ Robbie E and end up tagging with him...

It'll be a sad day in WWE when ZR and Punk are out the door :(

well if wwe are mentioning his internet show on commintary maybe they are building him up. presenting him as the underdog so we will rally behind him more and more.

capitalize on the momentum when it is at a fever pitch

I have only got back into wrestling the past year due to my two sons becoming addicted to it, and this is my first post. I love this guy, really great charisma, and I can't for the life of me understand how wwe haven't got behind him. From reading on her the past while, you guys assume that Vince hates the Internet, so maybe they are building his last feud before he retires with the Internet fans, and Zack will be the guy who feuds with him. I'm a bit tired at the moment and am on my iPhone but surely there is a great angle to come out of this, ala Vince cd Austin, establishment va anti etc.

The mini Dolph Ziggler Cameo was a bit weird though!

This is actually a running joke I noticed in the show a few weeks ago...

In every episode, for a split second, he puts Dolph and Ghostbusters figures together sitting randomly on something. This week it was the real Dolph holding the same Ghostbuster figure.

Its really hard to spot, you have to pause it at the right time but once I started noticing them it gets quite funny!
