Hey broskis, this guy deserves his own thread. But you already knew that! You know WWE creative has nothing for the guy so he's coming up with catchphrases and promos for himself. Solidly behind the guy for such a great work ethic and being very funny. It's also the Jersey Shore gimmick done very, very right.

Zack does his own web-series, Z! True Long Island Story and after 6 videos they've gotten over a quarter of a million hits, without any kind of plug from WWE TV...

    He's just uploaded episode #7 :

all of his videos can be found here

Take care, spike your hair :pac:

Really deserves a push. He has charisma, is a good in-ring worker so there's no real reason why the hell he isn't on Raw every week. It's stuff like Woo Woo Woo and Take care, spike your hair that makes me a broski

Plus, he has 1 of the Awesomeness theme songs around

Love it. Push the man Vince. HHH put on the spot as to why he's not on TV "Eh..well.." Woo woo woo. Seriously though good to see someone showing initiative

Aw come on, he does the proper paced WWW on the Net but the slow version on TV? Lame.

Good to see Barreta get on there though. ;)

Zack Ryder is one of the people I enjoy the most in the WWE. Love the web show, think the man is a bucket of charisma and can go in the ring. He puts so much effort into his character it makes him stand out so well in a crowd were everyone wears dark trunks and have tattoos.

Greatest thing ever, go to 1:25 on this video (Or just watch the whole thing cause its aweosme) But when he is showing Jericho dance moves for his dancing with the stars, its just class :D.

"Has anyone got President Obama's phone number? Cause I have figured out why the unemployment rates are so high! Because Zack Ryder's doing all the jobs!" :D Smooth.

This is the WWE dropping the ball with Zack Ryder."

Usually i would be worried for someone in ryders position after mania time, but from hearing HHH's positive comments in a vid recently, he could be fairly safe.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,234 ✭✭✭ayatollah

this is far funnier than anything the wwe has done in years.

give this man a run with a title or a fued with ted - hell they're both doing nothing - so why the fu<k not

Loving 'Long Island Iced Z' due to this. He never really registered until I saw how naturally funny the lad is. Hopefully somebody somewhere is taking note. A crying shame if they're not. "What are you doing Zack?" " I'm..trying..to get ..over". You know it.

The fence bit was funny but the Cena bit was absolutely AMAZING. I loved how hard ZR marked out for it afterwards :pac:

You knew this was coming, Zack Pack, in WWE, that bullshít they spout about trying to get yourself over, break out from the group, try to get noticed....absolutely not...unless we book it.
Jason Powell of ProWrestling.NET reports that WWE ordered 02 Arena officials in London to remove all Zack Ryder signs from fans. One sign confiscated read "Ryder =Ratings" and another one "Push Ryder". Ryder in recent weeks has gained a large following who watch his Z! True Long Island Story Episodes on Youtube. Many fans are pushing for him to get more television time which WWE do not seem intent on doing.

We're telling you what's good - one of your own, no less. Ever wonder why you're in a slump, WWE? It's because of bullshít mentality like this. We're not looking for ZR to be world champion, just get him jobbing on RAW and maybe a backstage segment or two.

    Fúck this company.

^ Ryder = ratings was seen on TV.

Wonder will he get in trouble over this?

Ya, luckily it made it to TV before it was confiscated. I can't see this turn of events being any good for Ryder. Confiscating a smattering of signs of a guy on their roster.....means they have absolutely no want to push him, despite him getting over with the hardest fans to please (i.e. the IWC)...

I can only hope that if it were HHH in charge he'd realise the potential of this guy to be another Santino. There's buckets of stuff he can do. Ya don't gotta push him, just feature him and he'll get over all by himself.

If World ActionSoapOpera Entertaiment don't want to push him, he should be let go, he'd make a great tag-partner (or rival) for Robbie E in TNA

Jersey Shore Vs Mexican America ftw

Just watched some of those bits for the first time... My god! Where has this guy been?! He's hilarious. I'm still laughing at the fence bit. The Cena bit was genius too, especially after the earlier episode where the interviewer questions him about Ryder.
Gonna watch the rest of them tomorrow morning to distract me from study :pac:

This is very strange about signs being confiscated, I watched Superstars this week and Ryder and the annouce team were clearly plugging his internet show. He even got the main event against Khali and a promo beforehand, He has the Miz and John Cena openly say their fans of the show. The guy seems to be liked backstage, I'm calling bull**** on the signs. No way is that true, i'd expect a bigger push sooner rather than later. Draft next week after all.

Feck that, i'd prefer him to have a long jobber career than break his neck playing with the spotmonkeys in TNA.

Judging by tweets on Ryders twitter page, it seems like the signs were taken off people
    RT by @ZackRyder
@RKOsLittleViper keep an eye out on raw for the @ZackRyder = ratings sign before security took it off me because backstage told um too :(
Yeah, during evan bournes entrances security said I gotta keep "that" sign down or I'm out. How pathetic

Love this msg board! Found it a few weeks ago and have been che king it daily. Im a big ZR fan and im taking my son to Raw June 13th. He is 5 yrs old and wants to make a ZR sign. I know the sign will get on TV we are ringside second row. I need some ideas for a good sign that he can hold up. Hopefully they dont check signs on the way in..and i doubt the will eject a 5 yr old and his parents. So give us some good ideas for a sign.

a main event on superstars in which he was totally squashed by the sh!te Khali definately doesnt indicate a push!

    unfortunately! :(

Just make a "Broski of the Week" sign, then he might even get mentioned on Z! True Long Island Stories.

He wasn't totally squashed, jobbed out yes, but he got in offense. As much as one could against the unworkable Khali. There was more of a spotlight on him than any other time in the last few weeks (excluding backstage segments on Raw & PPV). I think in 3 weeks he will be a regular slot on Raw or Smackdown.

WWE childishly taking signs away reminds me of the time they edited out cheers for Christian on a Raw or Smackdown episode that was on in the UK around the time he left wwe.
Come to think of it a week ago when Sin Cara debuted in the ring there was a fair few suspiciously well made Sin Cara signs.
