Is it Gay to put ice cubes in beer?

I don't even see how putting beer in ice could even be pretentious - to be pretentious, one would have to imagine that doing so would affect an image of superior culture or taste. Personally, I think it detracts from my impression of a person's taste.

It reminds me of people who put ice cubes in red wine. There are only some reds that actually take ice cubes well - in general it is not advisable to add ice.
But presumably someone, somewhere read something on how occasionally red wine tastes better with ice, decided it was cool, and the fad began there too.

In the end, this is just a fad. There is nothing culturally enlightened nor informed in adding ice to beers.

I could understand girls doing it if they don't drink beer very often, or likewise for a man who is not accustomed to beer, or with whom beer does not agree.
