Flo Gas Gas Cylinder!!!

    Hi is there a scientific reason why there is liquid approx 3kgs of liquid in the bottom of one gas cylinder while another has only 1.2kgs and another has none. All of these gas cylinders are empty as far as using them to power a cooker!!! Im wondering why the liquid exists why the amount of liquid varies from cylinder to cylinder and also :rolleyes:does a larger amount of liquid also effect the duration of burner use?:confused:

    To get the last gas out of a cylinder I stand the cylinder in a large basin and pour in hot water up to about 150mm.

    You'd be surprised at how much extra gas you get out of an "empty" cylinder in this way.

    The variation could have a lot to do with the ambient temperature on the day that the gas "ran-out" for each barrel. The colder the day, the more gas would remain in the barrel at the point where the gas ran-out.

    You could perform an experiment to confirm this.
