I am planning on inventing a new boards ID from which to troll.

I would welcome any advice on how to troll well and not get caught.

I have an idea this is in relation to protesting your ban in the dispute forum yesterday.... Your way of getting back in without playing nice?

Reminds me of this for some reason:

Homer: You know, one day honest citizens are going to stand up to you crooked cops.

Chief Wiggum: They are!? Oh no! Ha-have they set a date?

    :pac:

    Couldn't find a youtube clip :(

Just remember that you might feel guilty about it so only proceed of you don't mind taking advantage of vulnerable people.

I have given that some thought. I think if the troll is going to be any good there will inevitably be collateral damage. I'd be fairly relaxed about someone getting worked up what is written on an internet forum though.

you would have to be a good liar or have a split personality.

That would arouse too much suspicion. The legitimacy of the troll is going to come into question at some stage, so you want everything looking normal. It's internet "shops".

You'd base it loosely on your own life. It would be too hard otherwise.

you are putting to much thought into this, it will not work.

One should not troll, for to troll is to deceive. People want truth, deception is a false reality and only ruins conversation.

Interesting to read that permanently banned users cannot return. :D

so switching off your modem to get a new ip and clearing your cookies and using a different browser, as suggested by users above, isnt enough to get around the ban. hmm strange that.

would a firewall/antivirus program make any difference?

no i mean they can re-register after they do that, like i did, im one of the apparently "banned" users above but im still here making light of the fact that you can just re-register. Yours DrH_Lecter

eh no. When any account is "banned" on any vbulletin site or any site for that matter then the account stays banned. Regardless on anything on the users side.

I though the point of a troll was to get noticed? If you troll, but no-one knows you're trolling, it's like that tree that falls down in the forest with no-one to hear it: did it really happen?

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

    Back when bebo was around;

Change your profile picture and your name to that of your target/friend. Post what you wish on his account suffering no repercussions. Watch as the mess unfolds and your friend is trying to explain to his lady friends that it wasn't him who said he would like to bury his face in their tits :P
