Do you fly/travel with it? Checked-in or hand baggage.

    Thanks

I have the Peli 1510, always check it in because it's too bulky and nowadays they rarely let you bring it on as hand luggage. For that reason I'm getting a Think Tank Airport because it's less obvious what's in the bag.

I have one of the Storm cases, same size as the Peli 1510. It has the foam interior, I have carried it as check in luggage a couple of times (had to take out a lens or two to get under weight) in Stanstead airport I met a busybody from the airport who insisted that my case was not cabin luggage size, I bet the case into the metal yoke they use to measure them :). Case is very handy and has a handle and wheels, doubles up as a seat and something to stand on.

I have a stormcase that I use kayaking. It spends 95% of it's time in the back of my boat. Really good, strong and has been thrown in a few rivers.

    Would recommend these!!

I too have a storm case, it's brilliant. Works great as a box to stand on when you're photographing really tall subjects :)

Strom and Peli are now essentially the same company, but Peli are "THE STANDARD", have a look at the torture test and test the limits videos here: http://www.peli.com/en/content/videos
