If you have to repeat an exam, how does this effect your conditional Masters offer?

Ok haven't got the final results yet, and I've a conditional offer for a Masters on the condition I get a 2:1. I'm at the moment on a 2:2, so I am really depending on my final results. But I've a really bad feeling that these did not go as well as I would have liked to - very personal circumstances
I really have a feeling that I could be very well repeating in August and was just wondering could this impact on their final decision of accepting me, before they even see my final repeat results 
I would be very grateful if someone could help me out, or is in the same position as myself.0
