Theres an E/W bet I fancy for Punchestown this PM.
Captain Declan in the 8.10, he's about 12-1.

As for opening an online account with the bookies, IMO there is nothing like going in and studying the form, chatting up Bernie behind the counter, asking some old timer his opinion on the 3.30, drawing a loveheart on the note before handing it to Bernie, nipping next door for a pint, going back in and collecting folding money.

Paypal accept 3V cards so you can get around it that way i would guess. I did have problems with that on one poker site as it said i didnt have a valid payment method or something but had no problems on Lads with it. Altho im guessing your 3 cash accounts are with the obvious 3 so probably already have an account with them?

I tried that a few years back and it was a no go.

You could always just set up an account in a branch and deposit money that way and then bet online. You can withdraw money in most Bookies now no problem also.

Boyles for certain will allow you to do this with no credit card.

Word from Tom Cleary's yard in Athlone, is that Miranda's Girl is off big style tonight.
14's in most bookies at the minute.
Finished 2nd, 1/2 length behind winner in previous outing in Roscommon.
Deffo worth a few bob each way.

Cheers Jayo, threw a few quid on her there @ 19s on betfair.
Would be a nice win coming into the bank holiday weekend.

I go to galway races evry year and never win...what tips have you got i dont really have a strategy.I did however watch pour moi in the derby and rekon he'll win the arc 6-1 shot at the moment wat ye rekon???

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,335 ✭✭✭✭UrbanSea

I'm sceptical about backing him for the Arc. Having to run off the pace like that in a big field in such a hard race like that isn't easy.
