I'd be a squirrel. Obviously a grey one because the red ones get bullied.

They look like they are having so much fun as they climb trees.

A penguin. Always been fascinated by them. They can just stand still on one spot by the edge of the water for ages and still look like they're having great craic.

Probably a bird of prey. They tend not to have many predators, so if you live past the chick stage you're unlikely to get attacked by anything else.

Eagle/owl/hawk/vulture/falcon......one of those. I think I'll go with vulture, they're pretty cool.

A dog. (Obviously one that's treated well)

You get petted all day, fed meaty meatyness, get some plates after dinner (lots-o-gravy). Your gut can handle all sorts of gristle and bacteria (which means you get the meat leftovers and you get to chew anything you want). Can be completely contented by having sticks thrown at you. Great hearing and smell.

Most importantly, you're loved by everyone, except soccer moms, who you can scare the crap out of just by going up to them wagging your tail.

And you get a tail!
