    Hi,
after getting engaged recently, we're trying to find places that could possibly accommodate a small wedding guest list of up to 60 but then allow up to 150 in total for an evening reception ?
(anywhere in Armagh - Down - Monaghan region)

    Thanks.
    P.

i would try the Four Season or the Westenra Arms hotel in Monaghan.

the Seasons has three function rooms, and can cater for any size as far i remember, but they probably have more than one wedding on in any one day so that could be a deal breaker for you.

Westenra Arms havent been here for a wedding before, but the function room is not that large so it could be perfect for the numbers you are think off.

I was at a small family wedding in this place in county Monaghan and it was really special. http://www.theriverbank.ie/Events.html It doesn't look much on the website but was fab in reality.

oh oops, I just saw you wanted 150 for the evening part; not quite sure it would fit that many but worth checking out perhaps.

If you have the budget Castle Leslie :-) For a smaller budget the westhenra is lovely for your numbers and the food is very good I'm sure you could negotiate also. I attended a family wedding with similar numbers and it was very intimate but still had room for evening guest and a good boogie!
