Converting Band 3 yagi to Band 4 or 5

I have a band 3 VHF aerial for receiving RTE 1 and 2 . Has any one ever converted this type to band 4 or 5 for receiving TV3 and TG4 and the new Saorview signal? I presume the dipole reflectors and directors would have to be cut and shortened accurately. The dipole and directors are just the twin bar types and it has no…

It is not practical, the elements would have to be cut to the right size, the polarity probably have to be changed and after all that you will loose your RTE signal on VHF. You can get a decent UHF aerial for about €20

It would be easier to start with a coathanger. Every dimension is different. Even changing a group A to group B would be a waste of time.
