Hey guys,

I have a Polaroid Automatic 250 and I was looking into buying some FP100C and FP3000, it's obviously cheaper to buy it in large quantities from the states. Except I really don't need, or afford, 100e worth of film.

So I was just wondering if someone or some people would be interested in splitting a bulk order of film?

An extreme example: You can get 2400 shots for for 1200e (50c/shot). More modestly: 100 shots for 100e, as opposed to the typical 10 shots for 15e.

You could also have a look at 7dayshop.com, works out at 90c per shot not including any bulk discount, but before postage (£5.95 per order)

I probably wouldn't put in an order just for it alone, but I'll usually pick up a pack or two if I happen to be ordering other bits and pieces. The silk one has a lovely finish.

I was working it out including postage.

I used 7day before, I wasn't too impressed. By your calculations, one box works out at 1.50~/shot.

Yes, if you buy 1 pack, but if you buy 10 packs (100 shots) as you suggest above, that drops to under 92c per shot.

I use them a fair bit, I've always found the service ok.

Therein is the rub, I can't afford, and don't need, 100e worth of film. This is why I was asking to see if anyone wanted to band together and save on costs/shipping.
