My cheese tastes are very simple. I just love plain cheddar (preferably white, but red is ok too.) OP mentioned Kilmeaden - the "extra mature white" cheddar is definitely the nicest regular packaged cheese you can buy in the supermarket.

I don't like fancy cheeses or really strong cheeses; stuff like gorgonzola and whatnot can fúck off.

G'wan. Live dangerously. You won't regret it.

I have never met a cheese I didn't like. I think cheese is one of the best things about life.

I like particularly like brie, camenbert, gubeen, roquefort, goat's cheese, gorgonzola, stilton, that apple stuff, munster, emmental, cheddar, swiss, gruyere (LOVE gruyere) and halloumi. I'd love to work in a cheese shop, but I would actually end up as big as the house.

McLellands Seriously Strong Cheddar.....I live on it. Sometimes I put a bit of it onto the George Foreman grill all on its own and enjoy the melted heaven that it is!

Yeah, but this is After Hours. The only thing we can deduce is that you like to put the holes in swiss cheese yourself............if you know what I mean.

I frigging love cheese. Theres a spicy flavoured cheese that they had samples of in the local supermarket a couple of weeks ago that I tried and I swear it was the nicest cheese I ever tasted. I cn't rcall the name of it. Anyone here would be able to enlighten me because I must get some. It was devine just eaten on the crackers

Think the likes of gorgonzola is a bit too strong for my palate just yet.

You should try dolcelatte - its amazing and not too strong. M&S do a really nice one.

And you can keep it really simple and still have the nicest tastes in the world.
Brie, a cracker, or Carrs water biscuits, and a nice local jam. I cant think of anything tastier

Love a good crumbly strong Cheddar. Nothing like slicing it up and spreading mango chutney or relish on it:D. Smoked Gouda is lovely too. Hate Brie or any of them soft mouldy cheeses, seriously, eating mould??

I love most cheeses, except for the white gooey ones, especially with a sip of red wine.

Love most cheese varieties, but especially a nice aged cheddar, brie, Danish blue, Wicklow blue, Gubbeen and actually pretty much any Irish farmhouse cheese I've ever tasted as we have such wonderful cheese makers in this country.
I also love Wensleydale, Stilton and Prästost-Swedish cheese I wish I could get here :(
Oh and Parmesan. Lidl's Parmesan is wonderful, and good value too.

Only cheeses I've tried that I don't like are cottage (tasteless) and Mesost-or Brunost as it's called in Norway-too sweet, like putting a hardened version of the caramelised condensed milk you use to make Banoffee on your bread... bleh!

Funny everyone else seems to love it. ;)
And did you try the jarlsberg

I'm sitting here waiting for episode 8 of Game Of Thrones, as one does :) while tucking into the fillet of cheddar, Kilmeaden :)

Mighty tasty washed down with a cup of cha, :)

Yea I like cheese, but calling cheddar a cheese is like calling a burger a fillet of beef. That orange stuff they put into it ain't good for you either.

    Cheese is amazing.

Bake a camembert til it's all melted and just dip some crusty french bread in it. AMAZING.

    Goat's cheese on pizza. AMAZING.

Toasted ham & cheese sandwich. AMAZING.

Even sweet things like a New York-style cheesecake. AMAZING.

Just don't get how people don't like it, especially the milder cheeses. Mentallers.
