No Urban, I found them on the doorstep :pac:

No but really yeah, I did :) Not too shabby, my lemon mousse came out absolutely DEADLY. I made them before with a strawberry mousse and attempted a raspberry mousse but the berries just tasted weird... I don't know, you expect a big punchy flavour but I didn't get it. So I made a lemon mousse and it's PERFECT :)

    Not too shabby???

They're like something you'd see on Ace of Cakes or something,or a French patissarie, better than anything in town. Well done.

    Aw thank you loads :)
I think it's hard for places in town though, it's not like I'm mass producing a product which is a skill in itself! I made a dozen and I'm murdered now :pac:
Had to make 2 batches of the lemon ones as I had one dodgey lemon cupcake but no one's complaining about having to eat the remaining 11 :pac:

I just bake for friends and that, I love being in the kitchen! :D

Chicken Shawarma from The Sligo Kebab House

Urban Sea is the lad to ask here. He's a Kebab Connoisseur.

    ;)

Personally The Sligo Kebab House on Castle Street is preety good, although theres atleast 5 different places that serve them varying in quality.

'Best' accross the road from it is amazing for the post club soakage, their chilli sauce will cut through anything.

    Oh Stew you're flattering me.

    In my opinion:

There are a number of questions to ask yourself first.
Is it taste or size you're going for?
For example, the biggest kebab is in Sligo Kebab House on Castle St.,but,in my opinion,is the worst quality,by quite a distance.

Roberto's is the best quality kebab (they do a special of a kebab and chip for 6 euro). Good value, but wouldn't fill a baby.

My kebab of choice is from Zam Zam's. A very large kebab(not as big as Sligo Kebab House, but it's wrapped up,Sligo Kebab House must be eaten with a fork,it gets annoying).

The sauces in Zam Zam's are second to none and the kebab meat is good too. Large kebab meal for 9 quid will have you nice and full.

    Hope that helps.

I've had two battered mars bars in the space of a week. My excuse was "introducing" friends to this Scottish delicacy. No more excuses now :(

I'm up in Galway,I was sick when I heard I was missing it. Apparently it's for a few Monday's though. I already know what I'm getting next monday:
    Donner kebab with no lettuce
    Onion Rings
    Battered sausages
    Curry cheese bacon chips.

    I can't wait.
