Scientific calculators will be allowed in all CAP 2 examinations. Apparently, on one of the continuous assessment regulations published this year, a requirement banning the use of scientific calculators was accidentally published and this caused a lot of confusion for students. I have had this correction clarified by the Institute. So it seems not only does the Institute not bother to check if exam questions have already been asked by other institutes word for word, they don't proof read their own exam regulations either.

As regards the audit packs, I'm not really sure what exactly it is you are looking for. All relevant notes are on the student section of the Institute website. Go to course material and check the auditing section for whatever it is you need. If it isn't there, try and describe what you need in detail and someone here might be able to point you in the right direction.

    Thanks for the reply.

That Institute mistake at the CAs really bleeped me up, but I guess I'm being unrealistic when I expect competence from the Institute!

I think you may be looking for a copy of PQA - Procedures for Quality Audit. I have a 2008 copy but there has to be a more recent one with ISA updates. They were give out at FAE so the institute will definately have it. Hope this helps and best of luck.
