New RPG but old at same time?

    Guys, I am looking for a good RPG that is not new and fecking as complicated as FFXIII. Can anyone, please, find me a good RPG to play lol.

    Are you looking for jrpgs style games or RPGs in general ? Go on give us a clue...

    If its the latter, the usual line of guilty suspects appears, any of the black isle stuff (baldurs gate, planescape, etc), Dragon Age, the witcher. I quite liked Neverwinter nights also.

    If its jap stuff then perhaps the JRPG forum can help there.

    Demon's Souls on PS3 is good. Came out in 2009 but its not complicated. Very difficult and unforgiving though. Saving is automatic only and you can't pause it. :pac:

    How old do you want?

    Chronotrigger is considered a classic (as in, play it if you haven't) but it's from the Snes Era so you'd need an emulator.

    Have you tried something like FALLOUT 3? It's not a 'pure' RPG but a damn good game.
