Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Call me skeptical, but ive had my heart broken on this front one time too many through hearsay and rumors, so unless theres an official announcement I certainly wont be believing you anyway

There's not a thing about this on ticketmaster.ie, rammstein.com, rammsteinfanarea.com, affenknecht.com or herzeleid.com. Give us a link to an official source or no one will beLIEve you!

On another note, Rammstein are on Sycamore Beach in Malibu, CA filming a new video. Some sources say it's for LIFAD, others say it's going to be a new track called "Mein Land" and may be to promote the "Best Of" album.

I used to like them a lot when I was younger but not so much now. The thing is if you strip away the over-the-top stage show and strip the music back to it's bare bones you're left with a decent enough but mediocre band. Their music sounds very derivative now and there's plenty of other bands that have done the whole metal/industrial crossover thing so much better, such as Ministry, Front Line Assembly and Fear Factory.

But still their live show would be something cool to witness.

If you strip anything away that makes a band what they are im sure youll be left with a mediocre band

Looking on the Download fest forums, somebody came across this:

U.K. in early March, and now rumoured Irish date in February. Am going to cross my fingers anyway, as English one is taken down now.

I'm gonna try to get tickets for this - have to see Rammstein.

Now this is promising, i'll be going to England again if I have to, but the fingers shall be crossed for a gig on this fair emerald isle

    This.

They're about the only band that I love that I haven't seen. And I have to see them. If not here, then in the UK.

    Great find Mushy.
I too will travel yet again if needs be and would recommend - no - insist any other fan should do if you havent seen them yet. I think it cost us about €250 for the pair us of to go to the Brum gig and that was flights, accom and gig tickets. Especially if Till is going to stick to his retire by 50 plan, it could be the last time to see them.

I wonder if they pulled plans to put the tickets on sale the morning of Sonisphere seeing as the majority of likely ticket buyers would be spending their money elsewhere that weekend.....Woo Hoo 3 weeks to Sonisphere:)

Hot off the press....Best of and European tour announced...A whole new show

Yep I too didn't trust that they would play Ireland so I and the missus went to Norway last year to catch them in concert and they are absolutely brilliant. Will definitely like to travel to see them again and if they play here I will book tickets.

Definitely one of my top concerts as well along with Metallica Black Album Tour, Guns n Roses in Slane and AC/DC last year in Punchestown.

STickets on sale during Sonisphere will suck big time but would organise it anyway.

Holy ****, Did not expect that...seeing them in the O2 will be completely different than at Rock Am Ring!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 288 ✭✭n900guy

Saw them in Munich in '09 on LIFAD tour, and have tickets again for Munich this November, but I think supporting the Dublin concert is essential.....will ahve to get some more for tickets that!
