I spotted this in Penney's & thought it would be crap so I didn't but it.

But I just spotted it on Exposé and the girl said it's great..

Sister uses it the whole time and it looks well on her.

It's very good. I apply a layer of moisturiser beforehand as it dries on the skin SUPER fast. It is quite dark on unmoisturised skin so I like to have a lighter shade to be safe. A few applications gives a nice deep Tan! :)

It's the only tan I use that doesn't make me borange!!

Cool I might give it a go so.. Should I use a mitt or what's the best way to apply it? i am useless at tan!!

I use a mitt myself. Tan always comes out lovely. I like the way it's a bit dark so you can acutally see where you are applying it and where you are pure white!:D

Me and my sister have both started using the lighter colour recently and its looks really nice. I apply it with a mitt.

Iv used this a few times, for €4 a pop it had to be tried! :D

It goes on dark and develops to a nice dark tan too. Its supposed to be wear off though and after one shower most of the colour is gone.

I love getting into the shower and seeing it all fly down the drain after it develops! I much prefer to build up the tan instead of having a really dark tan straight away!

I love that too, like washing off a hair dye! :p
The guide colour that comes up initially is just a bit misleading when the colour left after the shower is so light. What do I expect for €4 i spose :o

Wow for a Penneys job it sounds alright.
I have had so many tan disasters at least it won't be an expensive one.

So will I apply it to the skin and then use the mitt or apply it to the mitt?
It really does make a huge difference with Sally Henson..

Feck it after 2-3 applications I have a lovely tan! :) 4 is a bargain for tan I have to say! I've done about 6-7 full body applications with it and the bottle is a little over half way used! :)

Yeah I find too that after one shower most of the colour is gone. I think that is all to do with how your skin sheds..fast or slow. Everyone is different so some are lucky to be able to keep it a good colour for a few showers. That also depends on how well moisturised your skin is too .. which is also tricky - moisturising and tanning .. it's one or the other as they don't mix well imo . So tan it is for me (naughty I know)

St. Moritz is great. I find if you steep yourself in the bath say every Wednesday evening to get it completely off then start a fresh week applying every 2 days works. The bath may not even get it all off tho, even with exfoliation. Sometimes it's a toughy to get off. Applying with a mitt is the best/only option. I do love my sun shimmer too tho, handy if you'll be swimming etc. which strips any tan right off. You can pop on the Sun shimmer straight away afterwards with a mitt. On lazy days or in a rush it also means you can tan only the parts of your limbs on show lol. Medium shimmer or matt are my fave. Happy tanning ladies :D;):)

I always use a mitt no matter what tan I apply :)

This tan is amazing. I'm not a huge fake tan user but since the start of April I decided to give it a go. I use a mitt and I find it great. And it lasts ages :D

I think its actually really good but you have to be careful around water when you first put it on because it washes off easily.

I always apply it with a mitt before I go to bed and then in the morning have a shower (but no scrubbing) to wash off the guide colour. I wouldn't wear it without having a shower the next day, I think it looks almost greenish without showering first! It gives a lovely tan though, best one around for such a reasonable price!

I'm a St. Tropez convert! Need I say more...

Love love LOVE this tan and have been using it for about a year! The bottle lasts ages and its so cheap! It dries really quickly (like in 10mins you could be in your PJs and in bed) its that quick and doesnt smell. I always get complimented on my tan when i wear it! 9/10 for me....im giving 1 mark off as it does fade quicker than other ones but you'd still get a good 3,maybe 4 days out of an application.

It's a lovely colour but it nearly all washes off me after the first shower, even if I layer it over a few days it practically washes straight off.

It also made me and a friend of mine break out in little spots on our chins and chest

I'm not a fan ... I have used it before and it doesn't look good on me but I reckon it's my skin tone ( ghost white ). I'm jealous of the people who it works for though ..... €4 is a bargain !

Have fun giving it a go OP !

I'm a crazy pale and I love the foam version of this tan.
Its quite light after your shower so I don't look tangoed.
Its really easy to apply aswell because its tinted and that's so handy since I'm terrible at tan and this is even me proof.

I've used it quite often if I know in advance that I'll be going out. But like someone else mentioned it goes a bit green on me...but so do all tans that I try. That all disappears after I have a shower the next morning though. A lot of the colour does wash off me too and my skin doesn't like putting on a second layer cos it gets really dry. But that's just my skin! I'd def use it again but I'd make sure I've enough time to apply at least two layers of it.

I had a thing of the mousse hanging around since last year that I'd never used. I don't really wear fake tan, but I decided to give my legs a go tonight in honour of the sunshine. I don't have a mitt, nor have I ever used one with a tan in the past. Applied it, then went to wash my hands straight away.

The colour would not come off.

My hands were purple. Actually purple. I have work in the morning, in retail. I couldn't go out like that!

I washed and I washed and I washed and the colour didn't budge. Eventually I googled and tried an exfoliator. Slight shift in colour. Still purple though. In the end, I had to soak my hands in facial toner . It took about 15 minutes but most of the colour is gone now. So to anyone who's thinking about using either, use either gloves or a mitt. Do not use your bare hands!!

i LOVE this tan:) i apply it with a mitt after showering every second day and i get a really great, even tan with no smell! the skin on my legs reacts badly to most fake tan I've tried in the past, except for the ridiculously expensive ones. 4 euro is definitely a bargain:D

    The tan itself is great.
I always use it - with a mitt of course, and is so easy to put on . . streak free.

My only problem. . is trying to get the damn stuff off.
Like seriously, its like a tattoo.
    Stuck to your skin.

Ha, thats the only downside to it.

    Other then that, its great.

If you try taking it off in the shower with baby oil it works really well!
Although I have to say I've never had a problem getting it off before, its one of the easier ones to remove!

    Personally i absolutely L O V E this!
Like the person who started this thread when i seen it in Penny's for €4, I immediately assumed it was going to be terrible, I eventually tried it, after I seen one of the girls using it!
I've used Sally Hansen, Rimmel, St. Tropez, Amber Solaire, Johnson's, Dove, Piz Buin, Boots own brand, tan wipes along with some shops own brands, & i have to say i would pick St. Moriz (?) over any of them! :)
    Woo , Go Pennys! :D
