Eurosport 3D guide only goes to Monday is this channel being removed?

    From 7am Monday there are no listings for this channel are UPC removing it after the US OPEN?:mad:

    It's only on air for the tennis (like a temporary channel).

    I would say Panasonic paid big bucks for this to happen. They probably did a deal with UPCs parent company for carriage on all their networks across Europe.

    I know that in another thread i said that 3D wouldnt be around in another couple of years but i didnt think it would be gone this soon.

    Panasonic are using the channel as a platform for their 3D product and is primarily for their distibutors , the service was also made available to cable services - UPC/Virgin etc

    The service may return later in the year for the US Open in September and Eurosport have indicated that they may launch a 3D channel and already have the facilities in place.

    The current service runs to June 6th (5th ?) when the 2 week French open comes to an end.

    Other events eg WTCC have/are been recorded in 3D - but there are no indications if these shall be televised.
