Wow, that is expensive. You might be as well off playing it on PC and also be able to avail of the mods. It will even run on modern netbooks.

Word of warning - the XBox version of morrowind will not work on the XBox 360 - you'll have to have an original xbox.

I've heard of a mod being made which is transferring morrowind to the engine used in oblivion. Anyone else hear about this?

Yup - well at least the GOTY version of Morrowind I had wouldn't play with my XBox 360, and it was listed as being compatible at the time.....

Maybe there are some new-versions of the xbox which allow it to play, but it'll be a risk...

I have the standard version of Morrowind for Xbox and it plays fine on my old 20gb console. Won't display on vga though, have to swap the cable out for component to play it.
