I bought a second hand spoiler for the car on fleabay and need to get it resprayed. It's grey now and needs to be red. Does anyone have a rough idea how much it will cost to get done?
    Cheers

My lil' sister was just quoted €150 to have her rear bumper repainted... so I imagine a spoiler would be a similar price.

i would say 70-100.. anything more would be a rip off.

The cash is king bit threw me. How much did it cost? What type of car?

    2 door nissan;)

payed 1200 for the whole car.. only reason it cost so much is because there was a good bit of fibreglass work to be done to the kit..

yeah.. there is always a cash price

I've gotten quotes from bodyshops for things to be sprayed, one of them wanted 600 for front bumper, splitter and bonnet. They told me itd be around 2600 for the whole car. And that was a cash price. Stupidly expensive IMO, but if you want a quality job done then you need to pay top dollar

this being very true, any time i've ever gotten 'competitively priced' bodywork done, there has always been flaws/ imperfection etc, if you want it done right there is no point cheaping out.

imo though this is a bit of a 'how long is a piece of string' thread. people throwing figures around with no idea of any variables. is it a massive evo 7/ impreza classic spoiler or a tiny bora/ passat lip spoiler, also what colour is it going to be. there is no way to give a rough estimate without knowing these things.
