I normally mope about all day feeling like shyte from the drink the night before trying to pretend that I'm not hungover while eating everything that is in the house to see will it make me feel any better, all the time looking forward to the evening when I will get something out of the chipper which will make me feel even worse if I'm 100% honest and at some point in the day I will declare to myself that this is not worth it, that I'm off the drink and going to start jogging on monday and get myself in shape which will never happen because 3 days after this feeling subsides I will be looking forward to going on the beer next saturday night were the circle will start all over again.

    Me? Is that you?

This Sunday was a great day of lazing about, watching Dublin beat Offaly, and Tipperary beat Cork in the hurling (made my week along with Sat night out):D:D

Sundays can be amazing sometimes...only sometimes mind you!

i rise at dawn, the cold grey reality of another greulling day in the saltmines (Zalzminne) awaiting like a curious panther. in the afternoon i have lunch plans, which are a nightmare in themselves.

after that i tend to steal myself away for a few hours of brutal introspection.

    in the evening, ironing.

I basically have 2 types of sunday

Type 1: Get up, make fry, drink lots of tea and coffee simultaneously, hang about in my gaf untill it's time to go to my mammys for sunday dinner - yum, yum, yum. Come home and collapse into bed due to the sheer effort of digesting enough food to do for the whole week. Wake up monday morning a stone heavier, curse my life and repeat previous week ad nauseum.

Type 2: Gradually realise it's after getting bright outside and deduce that saturday night must have ended sometime ago, choose to ignore this fact and carry on regardless untill the sweet release on unconsciousness eventually takes hold. Wake up monday morning a stone lighter, curse my life and repeat previous week ad nauseum.

As the years go by, i'm more and more favouring Type 1, but i still throw in the occasional Type 2 for the sake of my mental, if not physical wellbeing:D

If I'm hungover it consists of up, shower, couch, watch racing & football (GAA if it's summer), eat plenty

If nice and fresh it's up, shower, go for a stroll, pick up any bits n' pieces I need in town, home, watch racing & football, eat plenty. Sometimes go to the pub for racing & football!

If I was out on Saturday....get up, groan loudly, curl up in a ball on the couch and wait for food to be brought to me.

If i wasnt out, get up, make brekkie, go out and about!

Presently its a lil along the lines of, Up, eat something small, head to church head straight to airsoft for the afternoon then home for dinner and relax infront of the telly/internet

I'm up at 5am, in the gym for 5:30. Make some breakfast, omlette. In work for 7.30am. Work till 6pm.

Stupid Islamic calendar making my Sunday a Tuesday:mad:

Mine usually involves a lie in, then either make lunch for myself and kids or we head out to a local hotel with my parents.

Then usually sit at my mum and dads for a few hours chatting to them before bringing kids home and hitting my local pub for a few scoops with my mates.

I love Sunday nights in my local coz there is usually a good band on and less annoying people around to wreck my head as there are on a Saturday.
