    ok guys, serious update here.

    Ive been speaking to the manager of the center tonight, and due to increasing rental and insurance costs, he will not be able to offer us the same rate as last time we had a lan. Last time, we had a fixed rate of 250 for the night regardless of numbers.

    This time, he will require 10 per person.

    This means 2 things.

    1: there will be no prize pool available.
    2: the next lan we organise, if we want a prize pool, the cost will be about 13 per person. (3 euro per person into a pot for the winner isnt too much really..)

    I strongly urge you not to cancel, as it will be a great fun night for everyone, and its more for the enjoyment or playing sc2 with others at a lan than the ability to win some money.

    yeah me too, you could even make it 12 euro, 2 euro extra each so the winner still gets something, i know its about fun but at the end of the day it is also about winning and if there is no incentive to win, then people wont take it as seriously.

    EDIT: It is not as if, when you ask someone for an extra euro or two they are going to turn back around and go home.

    Imo adding a prize pool raise the feeling of competition, it's a good thing and also as said before giving 3 more euro isn't going to kill you.

    8pm - 8:30pm meet in Pravda for a few drinks, meet and greet etc etc.
    10:00: Head to the XGC.

    People are gonna be so drunk it'll take them an hour and a half to walk 10 feet. Special Taktiks, RoyalMarine, I like it.

    I'm an idiot and thought this was on on a friday night again. I'm now totally up for coming to the LAN, please let me know ASAP if you're dropping out and I'll pop up and take your place, or is it cool if I just show up like a late prick RM?

    Because I couldn't make it is there any chance of maybe getting a synopsis of the night? Like, not exclusively on the Tournaments but the laughs, the hates, the good and bads etc.

    Was thinking ~150 word synopsis should do if anyone's willing to do that. Would appreciate it :)

    I was very impressed by the all round standard of starcraft played, and there was just the right amount of cheese tasted throughout the night.
