Tell 'em no, it's from Splinter Cell and give 'em a clip round 'de ear.:pac:

I like that one, should say it's from FN and see what kind of response I'd get.

Faster paced action, more guns and not as scary.

That was the draw for me though :(

Fast paced and guns - CoD.

Is OP: Red River any good? I thought Dragon Rising was dreadful.

Red River is a vast improvement on Dragon Rising (which I also thought was complete rubbish). It's not perfect - but it's much much better.
I still haven't found any version of Flashpoint to be better than the original version released ages ago on PC - I remember the absolute joy of killing the crew of a shilka who were stupidly having a brew around a fire (I mean - at night - fools!) and then rampaging around in the Shilka using it to rip seven shades of excrement out of all and sundry.
    That was a good day.
And then some bastard in a Hind missiled the feck out of me. Somewhere along the line using an anti aircraft tank as an anti land locked stuff tank I forgot about it's original purpose and let myself be taken out by something it was originally designed to take out.
    Balls.

That's exactly why that game was so perfect. Anyone that played it for any length of time has a half dozen stories like that.
    It's a shame they couldn't replicate it.

I know - I can't figure out how they haven't been able to make more or less the same game with better graphics?
I mean - make Flashpoint (with exactly the same missions and AI) on a console or modern PC with current gen graphics and I'll happily waste a week playing it.

I'll spend a month on that at least. I'm still bugged by one of the missions on Everon that I never finished, even now.

There seems to be a large habit of dumbing down PC based IPs when they start releasing them on consoles for some reason. Putting together a decent rig so I can finally play Arma 2, and Battlefield 3 when it comes out.

The MW2 storyline was the last straw with regards to CoD for me. Got Blops but it's only succeeded in frustrating me, haven't touched the campaign. Giving the pre-pubescant fans what they wanted has pretty much ruined those games. I do still love CoD2 and 4 though. Luckily the CoD fans seem to stick well within the realms of the newest CoD's, anything else is "sheet compared to CoD, noobs"

I hate COD but I will say and its painful for me to say I enjoyed.....The black ops campaign...........God that felt worse then getting shot :O seriously tho multiplayer is ......................It is not worth the ban....

Well there is a coincidence, Steam are flogging Far Cry for €2.50 and Far Cry 2 for €7.50, this week only

I haven't played the second, but 20 hours of top notch single player gaming for less than the price of a cup of coffee? Few better deals out there.

Violence is the last resort of the incompetent.*

*The competent however, resort to it first.

Watching The Walking Dead on dvd - awesome! I can't believe that something like this actually got made for tv - and in America of all places (not really the greatest place for tv these days - if you discount HBO).
Is it me of is the main character played by that guy from Teachers?

Yeah, Andrew Lincoln.....played it well I thought. I'm looking forward to series 2.

Yeah, theres not much good coming out of the US these days....Great series like the Chicago Code or Detroit 187 last a season then get cancelled because people would rather watch crappy reality TV or "Dancing With That Guy That Once Played a Small Part in a TV Show 10 Years Ago."

Or because its a hell of a lot cheaper to make crappy reality TV.

Walking Dead is solid, but I think it might be a wee bit overrated purely because there's nothing else like it on television.

Curious as to what they're going to do about some of the later scenes from the comics. They seem to be sticking pretty close to them so far, but there's no way they can possibly televise some of that stuff in any form, and it's all pretty crucial to the characters.

Must say I loved watching The Walking Dead, is there a season 2 coming out?

Also must say that Nakita and Hawaii 5-0 are quite good too.

Oh and Game of Thrones now thats a great programme, I always for get to put it on series link though.

I'm embarrassed to say I'd never even heard of it until I heard it was in pre-production and saw some of the advance teasers. I'm not much of a graphic novel fan, but I checked out a few issues to see what the fuss was about, and yeah....It'll be interesting to see how they handle things.

Howdy folks, Here is a short action film (6mins) we just recently made with all airsoft guns and equipment. Check it out and please give your feedback!

All issues will be noted and hopefully fixed for the sequel

    Thanks

That was pretty damn great to be honest - random violence and a mohawk - WIN!

    Well done to all involved!
