    Hi,

I seen a plane going over my house near Dublin airport just before 8pm. It was a blue/grey plane and had a blue tail with white writing. The word on the tail ended with 'k'. It was a really big bulky passenger airplane.

Anyone have any clues what airline it would have been? It didn't look at all familiar.

    Thanks. :)

May have been Star Air/Maersk 767 perhaps?

Shockingly enough, I actually thought of googling it and couldn't find anything that matched what I saw.
You may notice that your result did not contain the correct answer.
    Thanks for your help.

Thank you for your actual constructive answers, it was a Maersk 767. I was confused because it wasn't on the Dublin 'arrivals' list.

    Thanks again guys. :)

Thanks, I'll have to keep an eye out for it, been looking at planes all evening, they're flying low today!
I seen my first 'Scandinavian Airlines' plane and was quite excited. :D

I never even thought about that being a cargo plane, thanks! :o

The only wide bodies that you would see on a weekday evening landing /taking off are the Fedex freighter DHL/UPS&TNT ones,And are normally the first ones back in the morning.;)

there's an etihad (a330) which leaves in the evening too - we weren't able to close main runway for works during the winter until it departed so it's burned into the memory!
