Sky FTV card stopped working

I have a Sky FTV card in my VU+ Duo using oscam. It has been working perfectly giving me Pick TV, 5*, 5USA etc. It stopped working yesterday. I got out my old sky box, connected it up and have left it running with card in on channel 501 Sky News. When I flick to Pick TV or 5/5 USA etc, I get the message "this is the wrong…

Yes, leave it the sky box for longer - try it on either 5 USA or standby.

Many thanks, I have left it on 5 USA, why specifically does that channel make a difference?

To be honest, I don't know the ins and outs of card entitlements, but there's a chance that the 'wake-up' signal is only sent on specific transponders.

If is doesn't work after being left on 5 USA, put the box into standby overnight - it's not really on standby, just the screen is blanked out.

[edit] This thread is old from 2005, but the posts suggests that the default TP is the best one to reactivate the card. So I'd suggest putting the box into standby.
