After a month or so break back to my quest of watching ever episode of Stargate SG-1 and possibly Atlantis and Universe if I like 'em.

I work in the city centre. I'm more pissed off that the easiest way home from work this evening is going to be via Dundrum...

I'm planning on getting to it alright, was hoping to bring my DSLR in but I just read on the Garda website that there are no bags allowed- how the hell am I meant to carry €500 worth of camera gear without a bag in that feckin weather????

    Grumpy Zoe.

all the pictures on the twitter feeds of it are deadly! :)

Hmm. Jury's out on Lady Gaga at the moment I'm afraid. Although I do like her. But that meat dress was really horrible.

Lady Gaga is class! I love Judas-it's one of those songs that gets stuck in your head.

I'm so sick of trying to sort out this stupid work placement that most of my class have already started by now. I've talked to the woman assisting me twice already about going outside the county as no-one in Galway seems interested and even picked out places on a list of hotels restaurants e.t.c that either provide or assist with accommodation. Today she emails me and asks if I've considered applying for somewhere outside Galway.

    Hi Everyone

I'm CDfm and I have a humour group called the Laughing Gnome Home and I asked Johnnymcg for permission to extend an invite cos it is hard to find us and posts dont appear on the main boards list.

Its the biggest social group on boards with over 110,000 posts in just over a year.

Its a mixture of Cuckoo's Nest & Rainbows and Lollipops but with some innuendo, offbeat and bad taste ( explicit is not allowed). Its about the games and humour really.

We have meant to extend an invite for a while.

We operate a safe to post policy probably a bit like you get here where nasty is not allowed.

We have students , grown ups and even a retired dairy farmer as regulars. I am the Group Leader ( I set it up & mod it) but we voluntarily subscribe to boards rules.

Its an open group so no invite is needed and you can invite friends in.

Here is where to find us

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/group.php?groupid=218

    Thanks

    CDfm

i watched the whole thing. people were well pissed off with me :(
i had the flags and all out!
have to say the past 2 weeks what with the queens visit and all i am really proud to be irish. i think everybody from the top down did a wonderful job of representing ireland.
and the minority that tried to cause problems were quickly dealt with.

Speaking of effing - HOW HAVE I NOT DISCOVERED EFFING DYKES BEFORE NOW? I have been on the internet since I was 13, and I have been an effing dyke for circa 13 years before that. What the hell?!

I have now wasted my afternoon - no, not wasted - ENJOYED - my afternoon snorting with laughter.

    Thank you diddlybit!

Its the most amazing thing ever, just thought I'd second that :D

Didn't go into Obama today, don't think I'd ever have got home again with all the transport chaos so I didn't bother

Haha me too! But are you getting bored with the interrogation/'look at their face for clues' thing? It's the defining feature of the game and it's getting tedious.

So tedious. I'm only playing it 'cos I'm ocd about finishing games  The face animation stuff is great but there's no point in great face animation when every other piece of graphics is awful! Cars handle like boats, only winking would make the liars more obvious, voice acting is laugh out loud cringey, stupid doubt option is stupid, interrogation = shouting straight away, I'm always "interfering" with crime scenes cos I drive into the lampposts.....:o

Also, actually, by the by, can anyone recommend any websites with female/female personal ads on them? Not really male/male ones because there's only so many descriptions of clean-shaven testicles that I can read before wanting to puke.:o

Not that I'm a filthy degenerate (most of the time), I just find that personals are hilarious to read because sometimes they're so outrageous, and I want something to amuse myself that's not just memebase...:o

Take a look at Craigslist personals for random cities in the casual encounters category. Always gives me a laugh!

Well I guess if you didn't have any preconceived notions that it would be kinda similar to GTA then you'd enjoy it. It's a good "cluesy" type game it's just really repetitive after a while ykno'? Given the chance to spend the money again I'd buy some fancy wine and Doritos WITH dip and quietly enjoy my Friday:p
