I think the Irish secretly wished they were the 51st state of the US. I mean, you all have already bought into many American products, tv shows and music, American slang, and just general all around bitch-ass coolness that Americanness entails.

All of these hate threads were just your way to vent your own jealous feelings and to hide your own feelings of inadequacy and inferiority. I mean, does the EU even want Ireland as part of it?
