Nintendo wii disc stuck (wont eject) in console please help

Hi all, we have a problem with our nintendo wii in that the disc wont eject, it is no longer in warranty so cant go down that route.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

If you google it, it has happened to others.

Plug it out from the wall for a few minutes and plug it back in, then try eject again.

If after a few attempts it's still stuck then I think you have a problem.

Thanks mr e i did that initially but no joy and then put it away, will give it another go and see
